Visiting Family and Friends

Weeks 2 and 3 of Abigail's life have seen a lot of visits from family and friends. We are so grateful for everyone who was able to come and meet our little girl and especially for the lovely food and gifts they brought which made our first few weeks that much easier.

Granny and Pop-Pop came by to spend some time with their newest granddaughter





As did Grammy who spent the better part of week with us helping Lauren while Ian was at work.



We really enjoyed a visit from Sam where he blessed our baby girl and our new family.



Thank you all for your visits (we just didn't have pictures of all of you!). We really enjoyed your company and appreciate your thoughtful gifts.

Abigail Comes into the World

Our beautiful daughter Abigail was born on August 2nd at 7:36am. She was 8 lbs 12 oz. and measured 21 inches long.



Mom and baby are doing great although it was very tiring work for them both. They more than deserved some rest.



Lauren's dad (grampy) was able to come see his new grandchild



and my parents popped by at the same time. We're glad they came and got to meet her. My dad (pop-pop) was delighted to hold his new granddaughter.



The hospital stay was very comforting thanks to the helpful and knowledgeable nurses who were always willing and able to answer our questions and calm our nerves. Imagine that... New parents nervous about taking good care of their baby... :)

More to come about our first days home as a family!

Off to the Hospital

It's 9pm on Friday and Lauren's water just broke. We're off to the hospital!
